I have an old NASCAR racing game I don't use anymore. It has an expensive wheel and foot pedals. I want to give it to a charity. It is designed to work with ME and older versions. Does anybody know if the software can be updated to run on 7 or at least XP?
Papyrus Racing Games and Sierra Studios are on the label. Could not find any info in a search. Game is NASCAR Racing 4. Much obliged if you can help out.
Have a 2000 Mark Martin NASCAR car.

Only can be run with emulators as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure NASCAR Racing 4 worked on my old XP machine without an issue.

Emulators? You lost me there. But I do have another 'puter with XP. I will try to load it and see if it works. Thank you very much, Zippy.

I just re-read the OP, if it works with 98 or ME, it should work fine with XP.
Emulators are to run DOS games on newer systems.. /brainfart

If you can get it to run on XP, try Windows 7's Compatibility mode. If it is designed for DOS, try DOSBOX.

If it's an old Logitech wheel there's a chance it's still supported under a modern OS too.
